I also have roles in academia and training, currently as the Head of Programme for the MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy at Metanoia Institute in London, and a part time lecturer at NYU London.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I work closely to understand my clients&#8217; unique needs and tailor treatment accordingly.\u00a0 I understand how at times it can feel challenging to begin work with a therapist, and I aim to create a space that feels safe, accepting and non-judgmental. I have worked with clients in India and in the United States previously. I earned my PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Maryland (UMD) College Park in the United States. Prior to the doctorate, I completed a Master\u2019s in Rehabilitation Counseling (also from UMD) and a Master\u2019s in Clinical Psychology (from Delhi University in
